Starting the Autumn term on a high with the fabulous news that Ghyll Royd has made it to the finals of this year’s Independent Schools of the Year Awards!
Our incredible victory in the National Independent School’s Association’s U11s Football Championships back in March has been recognised alongside our extensive Physical Education and Games Curriculum.
We are in the finals for the Sporting Achievement category alongside six other schools. Ghyll Royd is the only standalone Prep up for the award. Larger schools such as Sedbergh School are also nominated, making this achievement even more special.
We are immensely proud of our U11 football win, and for the passion and determination all our children shown when taking part in sport.
The results will be announced at a live awards ceremony on Tuesday 10th October.
The Independent Schools of the Year Awards celebrates the very best of education and was created by Independent School Parent. Ghyll Royd was a previous finalist in the Small School category back in 2019.
