Ever wondered what it must be like to be a sandwich?! Forms 3 and 4 found out by taking a trip through the digestive system at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax!
The classes enjoyed a workshop all about the human body and how it eats and digests food. The children made a banana sandwich and demonstrated its journey ‘from the chew, to the poo!’.
The trip was a fantastic starting point for the children’s Science topic after half term all about the human body.
Outside of the workshop Forms 3 and 4 explored the museum and enjoyed the miniature world – going shopping, being builders and dentists, using the bank and driving the big bus!
