Great Explorers have been investigating and exploring the environment of our local area by visiting Middleton Woods to look at the flowering Bluebells.
The children really enjoyed walking through the ‘carpets’ of bluebells and using lots of descriptive words to talk about the ‘zig-zag’ branches and the ‘wrinkly’ trees.
We are also planning a trip to the Tarn on Ilkley Moor to investigate tadpoles and their habitat.
The Early Years take full advantage of the local outdoor space, including the School grounds which are used for a weekly Wednesday welly walk!
How lucky we are to have all this on our doorstep!
