We are in the Oakbank Partnership of Bradford School Games.
School Games inspires young people to be physically active for life through positive experiences of daily activity and competition. Ghyll Royd is a Gold-accredited for its commitment to regularly encouraging and implementing sport and physical activity into the curriculum. We actively promote the external clubs and teams our children are a part of outside of school and aim to bring those opportunities into school for more children to access.
Claire Millbank, organiser of the Bronte School Games and the Oakbank league involves Ghyll Royd with local schools in a range of traditional and new sports, including:
Football
Tag Rugby
Orienteering
Footgolf
Tri-golf
Rounders
etc.
