Ghyll Royd offers flexible wraparound care and a wide range of extracurricular clubs, giving families added support before and after the school day.
Wraparound Care
Our Wraparound Care provides a safe and welcoming environment for children before and after the school day, with meal options available depending on the sessions booked.
The fees below apply to pupils in Reception to Form 6 who require Wraparound Care outside our standard school hours of 8.40am – 3.40pm, Monday to Friday.
To book Wraparound Care for your child, please email the school office at information@ghyllroydschool.co.uk letting us know the days and session times you require.
Extracurricular Clubs
School clubs and activities that take place before or after the school day are separate from Wraparound Care. These include activities such as Running Club, Lego Club and a variety of other extracurricular clubs offered throughout the school year.
To secure your child’s place on a club, bookings must be made through our ClassForKids booking system HERE. A new programme of clubs is released each term, giving children the opportunity to enjoy a range of different activities throughout the year.
Clubs provided by the school are free of charge unless otherwise stated on ClassForKids.
Using Extracurricular Clubs and Wraparound Care Together
Your child can attend a school club and use Wraparound Care on the same day. This allows families to combine the two options to suit their childcare needs.
For example, when the school day finishes at 3.40pm, your child could attend Lego Club from 3.40pm until 4.15pm, followed by Wraparound Care from 4.15pm – 5.00pm, or until 6.00pm if required.
Wraparound Care fees would only apply from the time your child finishes their school club and joins Wraparound Care.
